Die Wasser-Guillotine. Der Delinquent, der etwas ganz furchtbar Schlimmes verbrochen hat sitzt auf einer Schaukel über dem Wasserbottich, und nacheinander müssen Leute aus dem Publikum enie Schnur auswählen. Die läutet entweder eine Glocke oder bringt die Schaukel zum Absturz.

The water guillotine attracts much attention. The poor culprit sits on a swing above a water barrel, and the headman holds a bunch of thin ropes, asking volunteers to choose one, which either rings a bell or brings the swing down.
